I started the IT Small Business Alliance to unite Krakow iT businesses in common goals, such as recruitment, brand management, and best practice sharing. It's my ambition to continue to build Krakow as a center of excellence for web development because I believe that any foreign client who has a bad experience in Krakow reflect poorly on all of us, while every client that has a good experience reflects well on all of us. My goal is to ensure that every web development project sent to a Krakow firm is a brilliant success.

Our first group action was to share a booth at two career fairs to offer top engineering students a choice between working at a large firm or a small firm. Small firms are under-represented on campuses because of the high costs of fairs such as these, so by pooling our resources, we were able to lower the cost of putting our offer before the next generation of web superstars.

Twenty-two fourth-graders visited Lunar Logic Polska this morning to see how the web sites they know are built. The staff had a great time showing off their work, giving coding demonstrations, answering questions about outsourcing and working with foreign clients, and the students ended by designing their own web applications. It was great fun for all.
